On 15th February 2017 Riziki Source organized a forum dubbed “Disability Inclusion 101 at the Workplace” at the Riziki Hub in Nairobi.
Key emerging issues during the forum include:
- Accessibility at the workplace
- Disability Inclusive Workplace policies
- Impact analysis on Disability and Development
- Rehabilitation of employees who get disability while on employment
It was evident that the discussion around disability inclusion at the workplace still remains a “hot topic” with no unified answers to many questions asked by employers and persons with disabilities……Who will bridge the gap?
