Kebra Moore, Queen of diversity defeats her limited abilities……

“I grew up with music all of my life”, Kebra Moore emphasizes.”I was 24 years old in 1999 ,teaching music at an elementary school, working on my masters degree in music education, singing, taking care of my 14 month old son and being very active in my society. – Kebra

On Christmas eve of 1999,My fiancee ,my son and myself were involved in an accident that rendered me permanently disabled due to a spinal injury that I sustained .

Triple role of Kebra- A poet,Model and Musician :

Poet:

“I also was quoting to myself the poem ‘Invictus’ by Sir William Earnest Henley that I had learned in my sorority: “I am the master of my fate;I am the captain of My soul”

Music:

Several of Kebra Moore’s songs and videos have been nominated for awards.Her song”He’ll make a way” was featured on president Barrack Obama’s documentary soundtrack,”Becoming Barrack,evolution of a leader”.

Modelling:

“I’m a former Miss Wheelchair Mississippi(2013) and am now the Mississippi coordinator of the event.Disability is not a state of the heart but a state of the mind,Success moves far beyond a pair of arms or legs.
